I have been investigating the paranormal for about 4 years now. I first started to become intrigued after watching the Most Haunted investigation series on TV and thought I would love to find out if there was such a thing has life after death. Since we began doing our investigations, I have experienced a range of unexplained situations, including the feeling that I was taken over by a 10 year old boy. I have also found that I can go into a place that is being investigated, and if there is activity I get a bad headache, and also I pick up on names of people that have died in the area. I have found these situations very frightening but they have encouraged me to believe that there is something out there. I am very excited about doing investigations and vigils. As soon as we complete one, I just can’t wait for the next, it’s great.

I have been interested in the paranormal ever since I worked in a hall which I believe was haunted! I joined a team of paranormal investigators 4 years ago, and during that time I did have a personal paranormal experience of being touched. The paranormal has always been a big interest of mine, and I have always been a firm believer that there is something out there! I am with the SGPIT and I am looking forward to more frightening and thrilling times ahead.

I first got interested in the paranormal about 4 years ago. I have found that I have been able to pick up the odd name during an investigation, and have heard a cat cry even though there were none around. The investigations have made me less afraid of the paranormal and I am less scared about seeing ghosts. I love working with the team as we are a happy and friendly bunch but also very serious about the paranormal, and the unknown.

I wouldn't say that I am any sort of Medium but maybe just more sensitive to other experiences. Ever since I was young, I often experienced odd dreams about everyday activities or even things that had yet to happen, but what I would see in these dreams often would come true. Now that I am more mature and have come to understand it more and have come to find it quite facinating. It is this that has encouraged me to be interested in the paranormal and want to join the SGPIT. I look forward to every investigation and enjoy the company of the team as we all really get along well.

I first became interested in the paranormal from the age of about 18yrs old. Coming from an Irish background, my two sisters and me used to listen to many stories told by my parents and grandparents that would send shivers up and down my back. Being a new member to the team, I have really enjoyed our recent investigations. Whether you believe in life after death, ghosts, or even many of the unexplainable events, we as a team will search, record, document and try to explain all our findings.

When I was young I had a fascination with the afterlife and also with what was buried under the ground. I lived in a house in March wood (Hampshire) and as a young boy I used to think there was a man that walked up and down the stairs, but unlike most small children, it did not scare me, but actually made me more inquisitive. My definition of Paranormal: Paranormal is the energy of the living soul which hold the story of the past and sometimes this energy (or spirit) will try to communicate with the living or even try to warn us. I believe that if something has been waiting around for any number of years, then we should listen and take note as there are things we could learn from them if we just opened our minds. I also believe that we all have a spirit that guides us through life - some of us will get to meet them, but many won't, I so far have yet to meet mine, but look forward to the day I do. I have been on a few investigations and had some good vigils, in the past I have found that when you are in big groups, there is too much energy being generated which makes it hard for the spirit to contact us. It is much better to investigate in smaller groups so that it gives the spirit less to focus on. I believe that one day I will be the one to come forward and be able to communicate with the living soul in the future.
