Investigation Report
The team grouped together around Marlenes and headed out to the private location at approximately 9.30pm. Unfortunately the church was located in the country meaning that most of the journey involved narrow lanes and dirt tracks.
Once the team had arrived at the location, they found that it seemed extraordinarily dark - darker than they had expected. They decided that they would head inside and get started straight away.
Once inside the team started off by setting up the equipment. A Motion Camera was set facing the alter, and on this visit they decided to use a new piece of highly sophisticated technical "state of the art" paranormal investigation equipment....the Baby Monitor!!!! They placed the transmitter end next to the bell tower as none of the team really fancied being in this location for any real length of time, and kept the receiver with the team, allowing them to be able to monitor any unexpected noises. A night vision camera was erected facing the Font.
With all the equipment in location, they then carried out their standard baseline tests and as expected, found that the temperatures were very low in all areas of the church.
Sandra started the proceedings by asking out for any spirits that were with them to make a noise or let their presence known, and almost immediately they heard a load thump coming from the tower. The team all decided that they were happy not to investigate this noise due to the location, but hoped that whatever had caused it had been captured on the EVP.
The team continued for a while and then decided to stop for a drop of tea. Once they had finished their break they checked the Motion camera to see if it had discovered anything. They found that there had been 15 takes but found that only 1 picture showed a large bright light surrounded by orbs near the alter.
They continued with the investigation until around 4am, when they decided that there was nothing of any real interest occurring. They collected up all their equipment, and at that precise moment, Marlene believed that she had seen something white drift passed her. Sandra asked what it looked like because she believed she had seen something white go around the back of Gill. Marlene found it hard to explain, and the team were unable to find any real cause for the light.
Conclusion
The team really doesn't know what they had seen towards the end of the investigation, but believe that this was something of a paranormal experience, like the first stages of a ghost. With hindsight, the team wished that they had not cleared the equipment up when they had as this may have captured the activity and would have given them more to review and investigate.
Whilst on the journey home, the team believe that they experienced another unexplained phenomenon. As they drove through the lanes, the team noticed a patch of fog appearing up ahead, and thought that this was because of the fields, but as they drove through it, the team found that the car started to bounce up and down as if they had a serious puncture, or were travelling along a very cobbled road. Once they had exited the fog patch, all returned to normal.....what had caused such a strange experience??? Was it linked to the night's investigation???
The team are still reviewing the data that was gathered that night, and are hoping to find more interesting paranormal activities.
All in all, the investigation was enjoyed by the team and they would like to thank the church for a good nights vigil.
