For this investigation the team had arranged to partner up with another group (Tracy & Lee) who had arranged the vigil at The Swan public house. Upon arriving, they met up with about 15 other people for the nights investigation. They all sat down and had a brief conversation about which rooms to investigate as well as performing the usual protection circle.
Tracy & Lee took their team upstairs and the others made their way to the skittle alley. The first thing Mary said was that she had a strong smell of manure as they were walking through the courtyard. As the team performed the seance, Mary and Marlene smelt the manure again. They stated calling out into the room and Marlene felt a cold breeze around her hands whilst Mary had a cold breeze around her legs. Danny checked around the room and there was a broken window so this explained where the cold breeze was coming from.
They then made their way up the stairs to the top of the building and performed another seance. Whilst the team where calling out into the room they heard a whistling noise. They whistled again and asked for it to copy and believe it did.
They then moved onto the 1st floor bedroom where they found that the temperature was 18.2 degrees and also the EMF meter was going mad. They walked around the room and found that the reading was at its highest near an inner wall. With this excitement caused by the reading, the team decided to perform another seance in the room. After a while Marlene had to walk away as she started to come over all dizzy. Mary sensed a cat was in the room with them but there was nothing around, so she decided to use the dowsing rods which crossed. Danny also used the rods and found that they also crossed over with great force by the wall where they had received the high EMF readings.
The final location that the team went to was the cellar. It was extremely cold in this location (as you would expect it to be) but there was nothing else going on, so after an hour they decided to stop their investigation and go back up to join the others to see how their investigations had gone.
Conclusion
The Swan Public House was a really lovely building and the team had been really excited to be invited along to investigate.
With the activity experienced in the 1st bed room, the team thought that the investigation had gone very well and where pleased with their findings. The have several photo's to go through still and hope that they are able to find more interesting findings from them to go with the high EMF reading from the room.
