Investigation Report
With the recent change in team members (some parting company and others joining), the team took up the opportunity to return to familiar ground and to see if they could give the new members a good experience. The team where also meeting up with a few other people that had been invited along.
When the team arrived at around 10.30, they found that it was packed with customers, so headed upstairs where they were introduced to the rest of the group. Once everyone was acquainted, the team went off around some of the rooms on the upper floor to perform their baseline tests. They found that the temperatures where quite high throughout the structure, but this was potentially linked to there being such a great number of people in the building.
With there still being a crowd downstairs, they decided to perform a seance in one of the rooms upstairs. Danny filmed the proceedings. The group started to ask out for anyone to come forward, and after a short while, Mary felt that there was a black woman in the room with the team. Mary felt that the woman had not come from a poor background and that her name may have been either Martha or Megan. They continued to ask out for her to come forward and talk, and at the same time Danny said that he noticed a white orb float around the back of Mary. Marlene also said that she felt a sensation on her hand like a gentle touch but was not sure what had caused it. Around the same time, Mary felt something touch her knees. This seemed to be all that was experienced during the seance, but the team had left the voice recorder running, so hopefully they may have picked up other paranormal activities.
With the building now empty, the team made their way down into the cellars. The ceilings were very low, and the team also noticed the warm temperatures. The group (also joined by a few of the other people) decided to link hands and again began to ask out. One of the other group members said that they felt as if they were being watched from the back wall by a tall figure dressed in black. The team found this very interesting as it had been what they had experienced on their previous visit. Sandra did find that she had picked up a shadow on her camcorder, and also the noise of what could only be described as a barrel being hit with something.
Whilst they where all in the cellar, another member of the group said that she had felt as if she had been pushed in the side, whilst her colleague believe she had felt her hair being pulled. This was very encouraging from the cellar.
Conclusion
The team had taken a great number of photo's during their visit to the Llandoer, and plan to review them to see if there is anything to backup what they experienced. They hope that they will be able to publish any that show anything interesting on the web site in the future.
They also searched the web to find out if there was anything that could support Mary's feeling of the black woman, and found that around 1714, John Cheiesly (also known as Johnny "one" arm) had returned from a trip, bringing with him a bride that had been an Indian princess. Perhaps this could have been the same person!!!!!
All in all it was another great investigation for the team.
