Investigation Report

This event had been booked through the "Haunted Happenings" paranormal investigation team (Click here to view). The team had seen the investigation advertised on their web site and decided that it looked as if there would be plenty of interesting aspects for a great vigil, and would also give them an opportunity to explore places further afield.

The team arrived in Worcester at 8.45pm and it was a wet and cold night which added to the atmosphere and excitement. Once inside the Commanery, the team had the sensation of stepping back in time.

The total group for the evening was around about 30 people from various locations, but all there to share the experience of investigating the paranormal. The evening started by listening to a brief history of the building, followed by a tour. The were many different rooms, all with a tale to tell. During this part of the investigation we were teamed up with a Medium. The team then started to visit the various rooms and the Medium attempted to connect with them. He was able to pick up a few names and also said that he was able to feel some of the pain that had been experienced by various people within the walls of the Commanery.

Once the tour was finished, the other guests were divided into 2 groups and taken around the site by members of the Haunted Happenings team. SGPIT were left to conduct their own investigation which had previously been agreed. This gave the team the opportunity to setup their own equipment and investigate the areas that interested them.

The team had already decided on the previous tour that they wanted to start their vigil in a room and stairway that had previously been used as a classroom. This was due to the fact that during the tour 3 of the team had heard a noise that had sounded like a childs cry coming from the stairs.

Gill, Sandra and Sue went into the classroom to perform a seance, whilst Pete and Marlene setup a Motion camera facing the stairway. Once the camera was in place they stayed and monitored it for a while, and noticed almost straight away a bright ball of light coming from the doorway and moving to the next room. They both went to see where the light moved, but found that it had already disappeared. Marlene thought it would be worth taking a photo from within this room and was able to see many orbs floating around.

After an hour the team decided that the seance was not picking up anything so decided it move on to their next location. This was used as part of the hospital wing. Again the team were drawn to this room as another team had reported an object falling to the floor whilst they were performing a vigil.

Sue and Marlene sat in the middle of the room on the floor and the rest of the team watched them from outside using a motion camera. They were watching many orbs coming out of the room whilst they were inside, and noticed that when the two left the room, the orbs then returned inside.

It was then time to meet back up with the rest of the investigators as there where plans to perform a large seance with everyone present. During this, a couple of people started to feel uneasy, but apart from that, there was nothing else happening.

Once everyone had returned to the base location there was time for people to share their experiences, including Hazel (a member of Haunted Happenings) telling everyone how she had been touched on her back quite hard, another person had caught to big orbs on tape in the kitchen area.

Conclusion

The team all agreed that the Commanery had been a great location to carry out the vigil as it had all the history and had the looks of a very interesting location.

With the sound of crying coming from the stairway, and also a sound of a lady humming, along with all the orbs that were caught on camera, not to mention the bright ball of light, it seemed that there was plenty of paranormal activity. The team were really interested with the room where the orbs seemed to leave when they entered, but return once the team had left.

Overall the team would recommend the Commanery as a great place for other Paranormal teams to perform a vigil.

***We would like to thank Haunted Happenings for a great nights vigil in Worcester, and hope to join them on another investigation soon.***
